Start with Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, ride the Enoden toward Hase for the Great Buddha, then continue to Enoshima if the weather is clear.
Use Hakone-Yumoto as the gateway, then plan a ropeway, lake cruise, open-air museum, or onsen depending on weather and energy.
Make Toshogu Shrine the anchor, then add Shinkyo Bridge, forest walks, or a waterfall route if you are leaving early enough.
Walk the warehouse district, snack around Candy Alley, and keep this as a shorter plan when you want a change of scenery without a huge train day.
Use Minato Mirai for the waterfront, Cup Noodles Museum, Red Brick Warehouse, and Chinatown. It is the easiest day trip when the weather is uncertain.
Take the train to Takaosanguchi, then choose the cable car or a walking trail. Best when the forecast is dry and visibility is decent.

Use Kawaguchiko as the base for Lake Kawaguchi, the panoramic ropeway, museums, cycling, and clear-day views of Mount Fuji.

Head west for mountain scenery, temple routes, local food, and seasonal flower or foliage stops without committing to a Fuji-length travel day.

Explore preserved canal streets, traditional merchant buildings, small museums, and boat-trip scenery in Chiba's relaxed Little Edo district.

Walk Omotesando to Naritasan Shinshoji, explore the temple grounds and park, and try the town's long-established eel restaurants.
